SAP Business Objects – Enhanced reporting

The logistics company receives many inquiries regarding the whereabouts of parcels. In order to process these enquiries, various employees are needed to clarify the whereabouts of the desired parcels. The process from making contact to obtaining information involves several steps. In order to enable a successive improvement of customer service, reports were used to make the processing steps visible. The project task was to enhance the reports in SAP Business Objects. To do this, additional data sources were connected to the existing database system and made available using the SAP Information Design Tool. With the help of the enhancements, the reporting could be expanded, whereby in-depth analyses are possible.
