As part of the customer's change harmonization initiative, a global change process was set up. Only the 'JIRA' tool is to be used worldwide for testing new software releases in the SAP environment. In order to ensure a uniform and consistent procedure for the members of the approximately 35 change management teams (CMTs), all teams at the Mannheim location will undergo appropriate training. This training was carried out by the quality management team of the PTA.
Supplement
The customer is supported in the transition process and in the introduction of the new process. Training and implementation concepts are created and training documents for business users are provided in English. These consist of a power point training and a video training in which the creation of an entry in JIRA is shown. Furthermore, best practices were developed and trainings and retraining were conducted – initially for five EMEA-CMT's in Mannheim or Remote.
Subject description
Several measures have to be carried out per team: the application for the new JIRA (with details), the migration of data from different systems into the JIRA projects based on the template provided by the customer. In addition, the training of key users in JIRA handling and the support of the CMT manager during the process introduction (Best Practices). Furthermore, the creation of governance processes within the overall system was supported and a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was created in coordination with the customer's contact persons.
