Enhancement of audit for distribution system operators (VNB) on EEG Internet Portal
Project duration: 2 months
Brief description
The EEG Internet portal enables all the participating business partners (distribution system operators and EltVUs) to report, in a structured and electronic form, the extensive information required by the transmission grid operators in order to implement the Renewable Energy Act (EEG) so that this information can then be processed securely and efficiently by the transmission grid operators. On the EEG Internet Portal distribution system operators (VNB) monthly commit their forecasts and settlements by uploading invoice data. Data reconciliation occasionally requires high temporal expenditure and should be processed on downstream and parallel testing functions. To enhance usability testing functions needs to be independent from current sessions, so the user can sign off after uploading invoice data even if the testing is not finished already. Users in the role of distribution system operators (VNB) should be informed over testing results after the testing function has been finished.
Supplement
The EEG Internet portal is based on Java and consists of two components that exchange information exclusively using web services. The persistent data are then saved to an Oracle database via a persistence framework.
Subject description
The project requires a new concept for the current autit. Beside the redesign of existing dialoques, technical requirements for multithreading of user threads are mandatory. Additionaly the new workflow enables distribution system operators (VNB) and the transmission provider (ÜNB) to communicate and interact with comments on testing results.
