Extenting a doctoral information system requirement catalogue
Project duration: 2 months
Brief description
In the context of process digitalization in healthcare this project provides the necessary specification of functionalities, which doctoral information systems have to comply for supporting the customers elements of digitalization. PTA is involved in process analysis, process modelling, and elicitation of requirement gaps. Consequentially, product requirements are formulated in a requirements catalogue.
Supplement
In the context of IT networking, the exchange of patient data between doctors (service providers) should take place with the aid of a software system. For this purpose, different use cases of the data transmission must first be specified and subsequently compared with the data protection regulations. The requirements determined in this way should then be implemented in the AIS systems as well as in an existing test software used as an AIS supplement. The moderation of the decision making which system should provide which functions to support the electronic transmission of medical reports (eAB) is in the responsibility of PTA. Based on existing models (Business Process Model and Notation, BPMN) which reflect the state of knowledge at project start, missing information are identified and iteratively refined or adjusted with the customer.
Subject description
The white paper is the basis for the implementation of the digitisation project, which consists of at least the elements eAB (electronic doctor's letter) and eAU (electronic certificate of incapacity for work). They aim to digitise the most frequent communication between service providers and cost units in order to save time, costs and resources in the long term, to reduce errors and, especially in the eAB element, to enable the structured transmission of information relevant to service providers between different AISs.
