Clearing house for statistics

Brief description
Further development of a web page and specialist applications for checking and managing statistics. Implementing the regulatory requirements places very stringent demands on the system, which has to ensure that these statistics are complete and of a high quality. These tasks require support from methods with a high degree of automation and a user-friendly web application so that statistics deliveries can be processed quickly, effectively and on schedule. The application secures the processes of receiving, checking, and forwarding the statistics. Processing operates in an error-tolerant way if there are technical failures.

The specialist application is based on a two-tier, service-oriented architecture. The development takes place in C#. The web application was developed in ASP.NET. The backend implements interfaces to several systems with different protocols such as SFTP, HTTP and formats like XML or CSV. The processing works fault-tolerant in case of technical failures. The data is managed in a MS-SQL-Server database. T-SQL procedures are used.
