Brief description
The project contains the requirements analysis and solution descriptions for an expansion of a quote calculation software for a Chinese customer. The quote calculation software is a custom developed application which is used world wide in the customer affiliates.
Supplement
For the project it is necessary to understand the Chinese sales process and to describe the requirements. As a second step the solutions are described which need to be implemented to support the Chinese sales process. The emphasis on a distributor based sales process while using pre-calculated quotes is not yet supported by the quote calculation software.
Subject description
The project needs to represent the special features of the offer and sales process using distributors. The calculation software will be adapted to the customer's needs in order to support the 'commitment' model. Due to the market situation in China it is important that the sales representatives can create quotes fast and therefor 'standard' quotes are already pre-calculated.
