Evaluation and migration of individual software on current server and development environment

The hardware and software is up to 10 years old, the migration is carried out because various support contracts have come to an end. The individual software is implemented in .NET or ASP.NET in 32-bit format, and comprises about one dozen specialist applications which are implemented as Windows services. Equally, many external components from external providers and self-developed components are used. The same applies to several webpages. The new 64-bit development environment must provide further support for the existing project types and deployment processes, and be able to run on the new server landscape. Database migration and access to the database are taken into account. In order to carry out the migration, there is a moderate reorganization of the source texts as well as reprogramming by components to be replaced. A complete function test ensures future operation.
