Further development and maintenance of a barrier-free search engine for care facilities
Brief description
Step-by-step further development of an implemented web site to search regionally for medical care services and care facilities. The further development includes barrier-free access to the website, importing and displaying additional information reports and quality seals, geocoding the facility addresses at the time of import and implementing a password guideline. Recording of voluntary self-reported information from the facilities is also optimized. File imports and exports are implemented by specialist applications as Windows services.
Supplement
The web application and specialist applications are based on a three-layer, service-oriented architecture. The development is carried out in ASP.NET with C#, based on the .NET 4.5.2 framework. The application is implemented as a modular and extendable Internet application. Using an additional website, the operators of care facilities can input and update facility-related additional information as well as present quality reports. The back office applications for importing service provider data have been implemented for data deliveries in the KKS standard (health insurance fund communication system), as well as importing and exporting additional data about the service providers.
