SAP ERP 6.0: Migration of an ERP standard system to SAP
Project duration: 1 year, 5 months
Brief description
Migration of a foreign ERP standard software system to SAP ERP 6.0. The project was triggered by the take-over of construction companies by a french industrial group. After the parent company's SAP applications were previously migrated to the ERP system of the corporation that acquired the company, the Czech and Slovakia subsidiary's applications are now to be replaced with SAP modules.
Supplement
The company uses the Helios standard software, which is widely used in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The modules used in the company are to be replaced with SAP functions and the legacy data is to be migrated. Country-specific functions (e.g. for payroll accounting) and individual enhancements are retained, meaning interfaces have to be replaced or new interfaces have to be created. Additionally functions of the MM and SD modules are modified and enhanced.
Subject description
The changeover is intended to achieve standardized invoicing and reporting in the corporation as a whole. Specific functions, e.g. for calculation, for project support and for equipment management, are retained and are connected to SAP ERP via interface. In particular, this involves web applications for time recording for assembly fitters and equipment, the data for which needs to be included in SAP ERP project controlling.
