The Knowledge Base (KNB) applications are ported to MS Access 2013. This involves redesign and numerous expansions: The creation and layout of the employee profiles is improved. The profiles (CV's) and the project reference lists can also be created in English. Preparation and supply of the KNB data for the intranet and the website are adjusted.
Supplement
In detail, the applications will be extended by the following functional areas: administration of translations for employee data, project data and training data. Managing translations and glossary texts for keyword lists. Providing functions to improve the actuality and correctness of KNB data.
Subject description
The Knowledge Base is a knowledge management system for recording and managing existing employee skills and project experience. It serves to support sales activities, team building and internal exchange of experience. The database can be used to search for experts and special knowledge. It also serves as an essential data source for publishing the IT company's experiences on the company's homepage. Customers can use it to research projects and find out about the service provider's competencies.
