The PTA task consists of coordination of incurred activities and support for the release switch from the perspective of technical administration. Significant aspects are implementation of functional tests and ensuring performance.
Supplement
Project implementation is divided into a preparation phase, test phase and implementation of the final upgrade. During preparation, the future system architecture is defined in terms of the Oracle database and Windows server used. Also, preparations are made for the subsequent test phase. Test cases for functional tests and for workload and performance tests are defined and documented. Sequence and batch runs that match daily business cases are defined for the performance testing. For the final upgrade, the defined system landscape is first provided and documented in the final phase. To ensure application support, the .Net-based administration tool and automated monitoring of IRM and interfaces is adapted with Foglight. The required activities in application support are adapted and documented.
