Implementation of Dynamics CRM 2013

Brief description

For a company in the area of conveyance handling technology, a modern CRM system is implemented, configured on a customer-specific basis and expanded.  This includes mechanisms for monitoring customer order behavior, assessing customer potential based on industry assignments, geographical evaluations for managing and optimizing field staff deployments as well as a budget tool.

Supplement

To expand the standard software Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, web sites are created using HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Elementary frameworks for this development are JQuery and Knockout.js.  Furthermore, plug-ins are created in C# and .Net 4.5 is used as a framework. For the interfaces to several ERP systems, custom-developed middleware and services are created in the form of WCF services.   Scrum is used as a project method, where the team comprises members from three different geographical locations.  Team Foundation Server 2012 and the Web interface it provides are used for code management and visualization of the Scrum board. Visual Studio 2012 is used as the development environment. The documentation is saved in SharePoint.

Subject description

The CRM system aggregates the data of the country-based ERP systems, thereby providing new and comprehensive options for Europe-wide management and evaluation for the areas of Sales and Marketing.   In the area of Sales, the system supports the user with a sales process that is managed from opportunity to quotation. Planned figures can be entered with the budget tool and each employee can compare their progress with the sales plan at any time. Several workflows react to different results and generate tasks for the responsible employees. The inclusion of a card-based evaluation and flexible questions with the advanced search enables cluster recognition for strategic decisions.  Marketing can create Europe-wide marketing lists using the CRM system. The connection to Inxmail uses the CRM marketing lists and the responses are entered in CRM.
