Brief description
Migration of SAP BW queries and workbooks from Version 3.5 to Version 7 when updating the SAP system environment to SAP GUI 7.3.
Supplement
The main tools for technical migration are BEx Query Designer 7 and BEx Analyzer 7. Project coordination and test documentation is performed with MS Excel and MS Word.
Subject description
Due to the many reports, these are divided into priorities and migrated accordingly. Before the migration, backups of queries and workbooks are also created. Migration itself is performed in two steps: 1. Query Migration 2. Migration workbooks. Both function and data tests are performed (reconciliation of migrated and unmigrated queries/workbooks). Support is also provided for the departments in the event of queries.
