It is used globally by a leading pharmaceutical company.
Supplement
The application is implemented as a 3-layered architecture and a Rich Client. The client layer is implemented via a Windows forms presentation. Remoting is used to communicate with server processors hosted on an Internet Information Server. The .Net Framework is used here. Data is stored on an MS SQL Server database. NHibernate is used as the persistence layer. The application is prepared for multilingual use and set up consistent with simple enhancement and maintenance on an object-oriented and component-oriented basis. To support rollout, the client is provided with an automatic update mechanism. In addition, an independent administration console for master data maintenance is developed that accesses the database via ADO.NET.
Subject description
Costing includes configuring the quotation, pricing and workflow control. The configuration makes it possible to create multiple locations with multiple instruments each and to assign the necessary reagents and consumption materials for each instrument. The material list is created automatically based on user entries. Various price variants can be created and compared in pricing. The price variants distribute costs differently to various combinations of materials and different finance and service options. In Pricing, the profitability and other key performance indicators of the overall offer are checked, and every change by the user is updated. The application contains a workflow control for creating a quotation in work groups and to enable a hierarchical authorization concept. The data of the selected price variant is transferred to downstream systems for offer creation.
