Restructuring and accelerating end-of-day processing (EOD) in the Endur standard software.
Supplement
With the consolidation of the customer system landscape with the Endur standard software as a central component, there is a requirement to migrate all long-term delivery contracts from other systems (see project 3315). The associated increase in data can be expected to significantly slow down end-of-day processing (EOD), which can prevent business-critical reports from being created on time. Therefore, the current EOD is restructured with the objective speeding up processing. Measures include – replacing CSV exports with direct access to the destination systems in user tables in the Endur schema – Deleting reports that are no longer required from the database – Changes to the processing sequence – Parallelization – Grid use
