Field staff MRP application with mobile Android app

A time planner with a Gantt chart implemented with GWT is extended and adapted for the graphical user interface of the MRP application. The business logic is developed with the aid of the Spring frameworks and Java servlets. The connection to the database is implemented with JPA and Hibernate. The user is informed about changes to his processed data via JMS. The Android app communicates by an SSL-encrypted https-connection with Rest Services, both to make new data available on the mobile phone, and to send data to the servers. On completion of a service contract, it can be signed by the customer directly on the smartphone.
