Further development of the WiM processes (change processes in measurement)

With the WiM processes (change processes in measurement), the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) has created reliable framework conditions that are compatible with high-volume business for those involved in carrying out metrology. The resolution published on 01.04.2011 must be implemented by the market participants involved. The standardization of business processes and contracts enables rapid and efficient cooperation between network operators, measurement service providers (MDL), and metering point operators (MSB) for the operation of metering points and for the gathering, processing, and distribution of the relevant measurement information. The processes relevant and necessary to the customer in his role as MSB and MDL are mapped in the master data system and further developed according to the changing market requirements (EDIFACT) and according to his own internal specifications for the harmonization of the internal processes.
