Development of a tool for the global entry of data for the investment planning process by the controllers responsible for the plants. An interface and functionality are created with which already entered data can be imported, validated by test run, and made available for upload as a csv file. Moreover, dependent selection lists, validity tests, and dynamic selection of compulsory fields are implemented for the entry area.

The structure of the csv file and the relevant testing logics and validity lists are specified by the customer. These logics are implemented by PTA and a suitable entry screen and a control screen are created. The necessary functionalities are implemented using VBA code or standard Excel functions (table functions, validity checks). The tool is configurable to the greatest possible degree, so that, for example, compulsory fields, disabled fields, selection lists, and the allocation of testing logics in tables can be configured. In the already distributed tools, these tables can be updated using an update function from a template stored on the company network.
