Margin calculation

Brief description
The customer is active in the gas trade. In the margin calculation project, (profit) margins between the purchasing and sales invoices are calculated. The entire process of invoice settlement is mapped here in order to determine the margin.
Supplement
The application to be created based on an existing Oracle database. A new Web frontend is created using JDeveloper / ADF Faces. The Web frontend generally uses already-existing business logic that is saved in the database in the form of PLSQL packages. Also, new logic is implemented for managing the "margin scenarios", for which the data model is also expanded.
Subject description
The objective of the application is to facilitate definition of margins by combining the required steps for calculating scenarios (for the combination of contracts) in an application. Instead of the previous method of calculating one scenario with purchasing contracts and one scenario with sales contracts (i.e. to determine prices, quantities and sales per contract), "margin determination" makes it possible to combine a purchasing scenario and a sales scenario into a "margin scenario". Comparison of the settlement results for the purchasing and sales scenario is performed using MS Excel.
