SAP BW: Change of financial year in SAP BI

Brief description
The changeover of the fiscal year in the SAP ERP 6.0 source system requires adjustments to the BW system. First, there is an analysis of areas in the BW system that are affected by a change of fiscal year and need to be adjusted. Then, adjustments are made in the customizing for program enhancements and for data updating to the InfoProviders.
Supplement
In the identified areas of the BW system, updates (start routines, characteristic routines, end routines) to the InfoProviders are adjusted to the changed fiscal year. Particular attention is paid here to special periods and the short financial year. Furthermore, adjustments are made to various time variables in the customer exit.
