SAP BW: Franchise fee settlement

Brief description
Support for creation and calculation of franchise fees. The required data is merged via various interfaces in SAP BW and transferred to SAP IS-U using defined logic, reflecting the payment to the local authorities.
Supplement
An IT concept is created and implemented in collaboration with the relevant department. This is based on flatfiles, master data and movement data from the SAP IS-U source system that are consolidated and structured to calculate the amount of the franchise fee in accordance with the franchise fee legislation.
Subject description
Franchise fees are charges that utility companies (UC) and water distribution companies (WDC) must pay to local authorities for the granting of rights for the use of public transportation routes for the laying and operation of pipes/lines to supply local end users with electricity, gas and water. The legal basis for this is German legislation on franchise fees (KAV) and the corresponding concession contract between utility operators and local authorities.
