Support of the control center in recording and documenting events that impede the transportation of passengers according to the schedule. Furthermore, damage to and malfunctions of local transportation facilities are recorded, and supervision of the remedial measures is supported. The results are, among other things, various reports for management.
Supplement
Proceeding from an event in the ITCS (Intermodal Transport Control System), the data are copied into the malfunction management system. Here, data from the scheduling system (ORACLE 9i) can then be added and the documentation can be completed. Further processing occurs exclusively using standard functions of Lotus Notes. A data warehouse (Notes) for supplying analysis tools like Cognos or Excel via interfaces is constructed for evaluations and reports.
Subject description
The system supports the traffic control center in recording and documenting events that lead to deviations from the scheduled transportation. The energy control center records and documents damage to devices and facilities such as switches, ticket machines, and signaling equipment. These data are the basis for various (technical) reports to management for estimating the quality of the supply and for the technical and legal handling of accidents. Repair orders for the service providers are created, and the responsible persons can monitor the work status. Additional applications such as the technical and legal handling of accidents provide the data of the malfunction management system for further use.
