The controlling application is based on MS Excel 2003. The entire scope of functions is developed in VBA. The controlling application was created as an Excel template, so that each construction site receives its own controlling table.
Subject description
In the first step, the controlling application makes it possible to itemize the entire set of planned data for a construction site to the individual accounts of the chart of accounts and to the months. Afterwards, the site supervisor can complete the order costing (consolidation of the individual months) at the touch of a button. The order costing is fixed and can then no longer be changed. In a second step, the site supervisor can record the current actual data for each month. The actual data are then compared to the planned data in an extrapolation. This provides the site supervisor with a complete overview of the construction site, enabling the supervisor to control and coordinate it accordingly.
