SAP BW: support for sales and distribution

Brief description
In the course of supervising and further developing an SAP BW system, various adjustments, further and new developments are made to the BW data model, as well as day-to-day business (monitoring loading operations, user support). Support for the upgrade from SAP BW 3.1 to SAP BI 7.0.
Supplement
The supported system is an SAP BW 3.1 system that is upgraded during the course of the project to an SAP BI 7.0 system. The SAP BW's data sources were AIX host (data supply via flat files) and SAP R/3 4.7. Depending on the data source, this involves BW data models created by the customer or the Business Content data models. The task here is to manage the process chain, automate the loading operations across process chains, and to adjust the existing BW architecture or develop new BW architecture.
Subject description
In addition to daily operations, the following requirements are processed: Adjusting an existing BW data model in the area of sales support and sales controlling to a changed data source structure (data source: host). Development of a new BW data model for consolidated display of profit-center, cost-center and internal-order accounting (data source: R/3). Adjusting/further developing BW data models due to new requirements in the areas of sales and distribution and controlling.
