In this project, management is informed about receipts from various clients into the incoming post center and into the associated databases. To achieve this, MS Access SQL queries are started and output in MS Excel tables. This takes place fully automatically at various times of day.

The management information system consists of an MS Access database that provides a connection to the DB2 and SQL queries. The queries are started in a macro, and the corresponding Excel spreadsheets are created and filled with the results. The queries are created in MS Access with SQL. The VBA programming also took place in MS Access. The program is started via the Windows Scheduler at certain times of day.
Subject description
The incoming post center records inbound mail, e-mails and faxes from a wide variety of insurance areas (clients), such as life insurance, health insurance, health funds and damage to property. Management needs key figures to monitor the progress of stepwise automation of the incoming post center.
