After the predecessor solution increased the application's processing speed with combined ABAP/VBA functions, its performance must now be further increased for large data volumes. The improvement will be achieved by carrying out the data collection, preparation and alignment within the individual table sheets directly in XML elements in ABAP, using ABAP objects and the SAP XML library. By creating data in the form of an ML spreadsheet, it is possible to avoid using VBA code to a large extent. This makes it possible to significantly enhance the performance further.
