Maintenance and optimization of the Seeburger Business Integration Server integration platform, improving and expanding the safety mechanisms, designing and implementing new accounting functions.

The integration platform is used in the group to exchange data with external business partners. Each hour, many hundreds of communication processes are handled. A large number of the processes are to be checked using security mechanisms such as virus checks or content checks within the process sequence. To do this, external tools are linked into the platform. The accounting data is identified using the metadata from the process sequences of each process and is then transferred to the SAP system for settlement.
Subject description
This is followed by the maintenance and optimization of the security mechanisms: the content check and virus analysis were set up again and checking data was made faster. The accounting functions that run at the same time as each process were redesigned and designed to use fewer resources. It was possible to reduce the error rate in the two-stage connection to the archive system by redesigning the process.
