Benchmark

Benchmarks are often used to reflect the performance of capital assets. These are also used to determine or to display the competitiveness of individual investment products and to assess them at a higher level (sectors). A great deal of information flows into the calculation and assessment of benchmarks (e.g. securities rates, fiscal year data of funds). Master data, tools / tool groups, relationships between tools or splits are also important when assessing and deriving important benchmarks. To ensure that the benchmarks are up to date and to guarantee efficient provision, management and processing of data, the "Benchmark" client/server application is needed. It is also used for required data exchange with other systems. Rates for base benchmarks or results of benchmark calculation are exchanged, for example.
