Development of a software component for bundling insurance applications from multiple customers. The focus here is on enhancing the existing XML interface for sending data, and providing standardized OC objects to read and write the data.
Supplement
To send the batch applications electronically, their data is formatted or provided in XML format. The XML data flow is parsed and written by Xerces. In other words, the data is transferred to an existing C++ object module. The data can be read and further processed from this object module with the help of COM objects.
Subject description
The introduction of a software module for sending batch applications is aimed at improving the efficiency of further processing of insurance applications. All the insured parties' data for the individual contracts and the data for the actual applicant for the product in question (e.g. company direct insurance) have to be grouped together into a larger data package and sent together to the central system. The completeness of the data is very important for subsequent processing. Besides the application data itself, this also includes additional log data and electronic signatures.
