Analysis of the requirements for a system for managing cable networks for telecommunications technology. In parallel to this, there is an analysis and evaluation of the systems that are to be used to this end by network operators.

The systems being analyzed include a customized development with an MS Access front end based on an Oracle database, and standard software (ConnectMaster ®).
Subject description
The systems being analyzed are used to manage and document the existing and planned telecommunication cables and cable terminal equipment, as well as their wiring and usage. These systems are a central tool for planning and operating the network. They are also an important source of information for marketing the network and provide the data needed for billing customers.
