OpenOffice.org vs. MS Office – reference analysis

Brief description
The system checks to what extent the MS Office software package (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) can be replaced by OpenOffice.org. The assessment focuses on the comparison of functionalities, not the costs, as the users of the Office application forward documents, among other things, to third parties for further processing. Use of Office software via a terminal server is also taken into account in the test cases.
Supplement
The test cases and test results are documented in a comprehensive text document. The test results for two previously-performed assessments are taken into account. The results are summarized in a presentation (conclusion).
