Logistics system: integrating the mail function

E-mails are created automatically to simplify the coordination of forwarding information from external participants on schedule. The process starts from the Lotus Notes e-mail database. This database provides the header and detailed information from the Oracle database via ODBC and draft e-mails are created. The standard texts about each milestone contained in the e-mails are created with detailed information, such as the e-mail address, due date, and ordering information in the recipient's language. The following languages are supported: German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
