Database administration in the UNIX/Oracle environment

One focus, along with daily routine work, was to improve the administrative environment to reduce the workload in a fast-growing infrastructure from 25 to 80 databases within 18 months. For this purpose, independent work standards were defined (among other things) and new technologies were implemented (e.g. tools for automatic data monitoring and Oracle name servers). Another area of focus was consulting in projects during development of new software, during implementation and secure operation of standard software and design of technical infrastructure.
