Companies in the research-based pharmaceutical industry in particular create a considerable number of inventions over the course of their employees' working lives. The customer pays remuneration for each invention, which is paid to the inventor and possibly his heirs in accordance with the German Inventor Remuneration Act. Together with PTA, the client has developed an IT system that automatically calculates the remuneration and controls the payments via interfaces to the HR and payroll system.
