Conception and introduction of an end-to-end production process for consumables. Development and connection of a user interface (MS Power Apps) via SAP CPI to SAP ERP.
Supplement
As part of an SAP roll-out in several national companies, the production process for consumables was redesigned and implemented. The start and end point of the sales process is SAP ERP. A custom developed Microsoft Power app was connected via the CPI, which feeds master and document data from the production process back to SAP. PTA took over the conception and development of the entire end-to-end process. (Requirements analysis, IT concept, SAP customizing and development, Microsoft Power Apps design and development).
Subject description
The customer sells individually produced products to its end customers. The recipes are created via a web interface and transferred to SAP. Master data is automatically created in SAP. When an order is received, the production orders are transferred from SAP to Microsoft and from there sent to a connected mixing machine. The process is fully integrated and automated. Thanks to the slim and user-friendly web interface, new employees can also be trained quickly.
