SAP BW on HANA: Adaptation of new processes for the distribution centers
Brief description
As part of the project, the reporting requirements from the new processes in the distribution centers, regional warehouses and cross-docking centers will be implemented. The basis is the parallel implementation of these business processes in SAP Retail and SAP EWM. The aim is to achieve a solution with SAP BW and SAP SAC. PTA designs and implements the data flows and reports in SAP BW. In addition, the data sources for the SAC dashboards are coordinated and provided.

The main challenge is the integration into or differentiation from the existing reporting. The background to this is that with the new process variants, logistics processing is changing from an external ordering process to a stock transfer process in accounting terms. For reporting, however, there is a requirement to continue to replicate the old logic.
Subject description
CDCs and regional warehouses take on a bundling and logistical control function in the background, i.e. invisible to the actual customers in the branches. In reporting, the challenge is then to show the data separately for the separate organizational elements in a complete and consistent manner.
