PTA experiences two successful days with positive discussions and victory in the Battle for Talent
On 21. and November 22, the akademika job fair took place once again in Augsburg. In addition to companies such as Microsoft, Brunel, hays and T-Systems, PTA GmbH from Mannheim was also present. The IT consulting company was not only able to hold positive discussions with interested graduates, but was also able to impress them in the “Battle for Talent”.
akademika is the job fair for young academics
Numerous exhibitors from the leading sectors present themselves at akademika twice a year. The job fair offers an excellent opportunity for university graduates and young academics to talk to companies and explore career prospects.
A proven special feature at the trade fair is “akademika Highlighted”, where exhibitors and interested parties receive stickers in matching colors. This enables graduates to recognize directly which companies have requirements in which areas. This not only provides important clues as to whether an exhibitor is a potential employer, but also makes it easier to start a conversation. At the same time, exhibitors can immediately see whether a candidate is a good fit for the company.
PTA wins Battle for Talent
The PTA not only enjoyed two successful days at the trade fair, but was also able to celebrate winning the “Battle for Talent”, which was organized by akademika for the first time. Interested companies were able to register for these in advance and thus take advantage of another opportunity to draw attention to themselves as employers.
Five companies competed against each other in five rounds of the “Battle for Talent”. In each round, a question was asked to which the companies were allowed to respond for one minute. The audience could then decide who had given the best answer. PTA won three out of five rounds, beating companies such as Capgemini and the German Aerospace Center. The PTA has thus shown that it is also an interesting employer for university graduates.
