PTA cooperates with data and AI specialist KENDAXA
The Mannheim-based software and consulting company PTA GmbH has been working with the Leipzig-based KENDAXA Group since January 2019. With new joint offerings, the partners want to enable both corporate groups and explicitly medium-sized customers to use company data as a powerful production factor for analyses, forecasts and corporate management. The focus here is on “artificial intelligence” and the integration of the resulting, forward-looking findings into customers’ value creation processes.
The KENDAXA platform allows users in all industries to use their data for intelligent analyses, forecasts and the management of business processes, regardless of the systems and platforms they have in place. The self-learning system uses all the data available in the company – for example from communication, documentation, log and metafiles or project and production data. In addition to basic data-based services such as data pooling, data cleansing, data enrichment and data insights, the platform offers a variety of services using data profiling, optical recognition, intelligent robotics or data mining and analytics, among others. Typical areas of application in companies in all sectors are compliance, development, purchasing and production. As a rule, their use leads to considerable improvements in efficiency and results on the part of customers and thus to additional economic leeway.
“Coupled with our consulting and software expertise, this cooperation allows us to pave a pragmatic path to the use of artificial intelligence for our SME customers in particular,” explains Dr. Tim Walleyo, member of the PTA management board. One reason for this is that KENDAXA’s platform can be operated both in the cloud and on-premise, giving customers a free choice. Secondly, the platform uses AI “under the hood”, so to speak: The user benefits from this without having to contribute their own or specialist expertise. Christopher Blaschke, founder and CEO of KENDAXA, adds: “The cooperation also makes so much sense from the customer’s point of view because the expertise of KENDAXA and PTA is complementary. PTA focuses on business applications and consulting, KENDAXA on data and AI.”
This also applies to the service portfolio. In the Business Platform +, PTA offers consulting, development and other services relating to digital transformation. “A powerful data platform with AI capabilities completes our offering, not only in the business platform area, but also in our ERP and CRM business. We are not changing our principle of independent consulting, but simply expanding our partner network to include a technology provider,” says Dr. Tim Walleyo.
Both companies will address their customer base independently with the combined portfolio as well as working closely together on consulting, development and implementation for selected customers. Christopher Blaschke comments: “We want customers to benefit from our combined strengths, and this is best achieved when we work hand in hand.”
PTA consistently pursues the goal of accompanying its customers on the path to digitalization. Based on the comprehensive approach of a Digital Business Platform (DBP+), pragmatic solutions are developed that always focus on the greatest possible customer success. Digitalization is not fundamentally new to the PTA, as it has been working for decades with IT systems that not only make day-to-day business more effective, but above all make customers more successful in the development and marketing of their products.
