IT meets ART 2018: Review

Focus on digital transformation

PTA successfully organizes “IT meets ART” lecture series for the third time

After two successful events, the PTA hosted the “IT meets ART” lecture series for the third time on June 7. This time at Ludwigsburg Residential Palace near Stuttgart.

Best practices for digital transformation

Successfully navigating the digital transformation – that is the goal in companies. That’s why PTA has now organized the IT meets ART event together with our colleagues from WirtschaftsWoche for the third year in a row. Participants were able to learn how to deal with digitalization in a pragmatic way.

On the one hand, the PTA showed how data and its use can make existing business models even more successful and new business models possible for the first time. On the other hand, the presentations on the topics of disruption in the energy industry, business intelligence based on big data, design thinking and art as inspiration provided exciting insights into the digital world of today and tomorrow.

“This is the third time we have held our IT meets ART lecture series and we are very pleased with the results this year. In addition to the castle tour and exciting presentations, there was once again plenty of time to network and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.”

Networking and exciting presentations in a relaxed atmosphere

As in the previous year, the guided tour of the castle kicked off this year’s IT meets ART. After the presentations, visitors once again had the opportunity to round off the evening with further discussions and networking over finger food.

“This is the third time we have held our IT meets ART lecture series and we are very pleased with the outcome this year too. In addition to the castle tour and exciting presentations, there was once again plenty of time to network and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere,” explains Dr. Tim Walleyo, member of the PTA Management Board.

ESG reporting must meet these standards

The preparation of legally compliant sustainability reporting is often more complex than many company managers assume. A survey that we conducted together with the data specialists at Statista confirms this theory.
