PTA at the IHK-Gfl information conference
PTA takes the opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know the IT managers of the IHKs
On 24. and April 25, 2018, the The 25th information conference of the IHK-GfI took place in Dortmund. The PTA attended the annual event with around 150 participants for the first time as a partner of the IHK-GfI.
IHK-GfI ensures optimal work processes between IHKs
IHK Gesellschaft für Informationsverarbeitung – IHK-GfI for short – is the joint IT service provider of the 79 chambers of industry and commerce in Germany, the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Berlin and Brussels as well as the chambers of commerce abroad and delegations of German business represented in 92 countries.
As the operator of the German IHK-GfI procurement portal, the IHK-GfI organizes an annual non-public information conference. With the information conference, the GfI offers those responsible at the respective CCIs the opportunity to exchange ideas and network with experts and service providers on future IT topics.
PTA is satisfied
As a new partner, the PTA took part in this year’s information conference for the first time. Dr. Andreas Schneider, Head of Energy at the PTA, draws a positive conclusion: “The information conference was an excellent opportunity for us to exchange ideas personally with those responsible at the individual IHKs. The successful setting and open atmosphere enabled an intensive exchange of information with decision-makers at different levels.”
With its experience in digitalization and the management of business processes, the PTA supports the digitalization strategy of the IHK association. With the broad knowledge of the PTA consultants, Scrum teams are managed and requirements for new workflows are implemented in GfI’s own framework around the core application EVA. To ensure that the resulting products can be used quickly by the various CCIs, the PTA also supports the GfI’s rollout projects as a central partner.
