As part of the project, workflows for the administration of counting devices in meter operation will be automated. The background to the implementation is the automated installation/conversion/removal of counting devices on systems after changes were made by a fitter on site. The customer, as the operator of the metering point, assumes his duties in ensuring the functionality of the metering locations. The tasks in the project amount to the requirements analysis in cooperation with the specialist department, the conception of the system, its implementation and the training of the customer employees.
Supplement
Methodically, work is carried out in four-week cycles according to customer standards. The technological know-how relates to the automation of processes, interface technologies and specific energy trading systems. The processing logic created by connecting the MDM system affects the processes of registering for use, cancellation of suppliers (old and new suppliers) and deregistering use when the market location is closed. The new processes are documented using Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Word and Confluence and presented to users in comprehensive training. The adjustments to the individual software are made with .Net code and an SQL database.
Subject description
By automating the process for processing a fitter's service, the processes are standardized and automated. If a fitter performs his service on site, the process is communicated to several systems and the technical case is processed depending on the framework conditions, no further action by the employee is necessary. The interface to the MDM system makes it possible to map the exact status of the process. The requirements include the following aspects: coordination of the implementation processes between the customer and an external service provider, conceptual design of the implementation, data mapping, development, testing and handover to the customer's IT.
