“Wonderfully changeable – creating new perspectives together” is the motto of the German-speaking SAP User Group (DSAG), the software manufacturer SAP and numerous representatives from the SAP ecosystem at the DSAG Annual Congress 2023. From September 19 to 21, over 5,000 visitors are once again expected in the halls of Messe Bremen. As always, the DSAG Annual Congress will be accompanied by a trade exhibition with over 170 exhibitors. In addition to exciting keynote speeches and partner presentations, this event offers plenty of opportunity to find out about the latest developments in the SAP environment and to exchange professional information. The DSAG Annual Congress is the most important meeting place for SAP user companies in German-speaking countries and offers the specialist audience a broad platform for orientation, exchange of experience and networking. The SAP experts from PTA IT-Beratung in Mannheim will also be taking part with a stand at the accompanying trade exhibition and an exciting partner presentation.
The e-invoicing obligation for federal suppliers will apply from November 27, 2020. From this date, invoices of €1,000 or more must be submitted to the federal authorities as an XML file (in the form of ZUGFeRD 2.1.1, Factur-X 1.0 or XRechnung). If this does not happen, they will be rejected.
The European standard 16931 (EN16931) defines how an e-invoice must be structured. This standard was developed by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) as part of EU Directive 2014/55/EU and obliges all contracting authorities in Europe to be able to receive and process e-invoices. In addition, contractors must issue e-invoices in accordance with these provisions by 2020. Based on EN16931, which only provides the basis for the required structured invoices, each EU member state can develop its own specification: the so-called CIUS (Core Invoice Usage Specification).
In order to make e-invoices feasible for all companies regardless of their size and available resources, Germany has developed a hybrid format together with France: ZUGFeRD 2.0 or Factur-X. This standard combines the two most common invoice formats XML and PDF. ZUGFeRD 2.0 and Factur-X are identical, but the term Factur-X is used internationally. With ZUGFeRD version 2.1.1, or Factur-X 1.0.05, a profile is now also available for the use of XRechnung that meets the requirements of the EN16931 standard.
